Client Spotlight:
Addis Housewares Ltd

The Challenge
Helping Global Brands Meet Sustainability Standards.
Addis Housewares Ltd is a respected global wholesaler of household products, known for delivering quality and innovation to customers across the UK and international markets. With products stocked by major retailers across Europe and beyond, Addis plays a key role in supplying households with trusted everyday essentials. As their global presence grows, so does the responsibility to meet rising consumer and retailer expectations for sustainability.
To stay competitive and future-focused, Addis needed to demonstrate clear commitment to environmental responsibility. They required a thorough and credible carbon footprint assessment to stay ahead of regulatory pressures, align with stakeholder and consumer values, and show measurable progress in reducing environmental impact.
Our Solution

Step 1:
Carbon Assessment Kickoff
We started by meeting with the Addis leadership team to understand their business operations, supply chain, and distribution activities. This allowed us to define their organizational boundaries and map the relevant carbon emission scopes, setting the foundation for a precise and reliable carbon footprint assessment.

Step 2:
Data Collection & Analysis
Working closely with the Addis team, we collected and analysed data covering their entire operations, international supply chain, energy use, logistics, and distribution channels. This provided a comprehensive and verified carbon footprint, giving Addis clear visibility over their largest emission sources.

Step 3:
Report & Recommendations
We delivered a detailed carbon impact report with tailored carbon reduction recommendations, providing Addis with clear, practical actions to reduce emissions. These insights positioned Addis to strengthen its sustainability commitments and communicate progress confidently to customers, partners, and stakeholders.
“After a competitive selection process, Addis chose The Carbon Stamp, for our first carbon footprint assessment.
We were delighted with the efficiency, of the process, of gathering all the information required.
An initial face to face meeting allowed all the key stakeholders to give input. This was followed by remote information gathering, proving to be a very effective use of our time.
Once the information had been gathered The Carbon Stamp, put together a wonderful presentation, which was very informative & well laid out.
The information contained in the presentation will allow Addis to make informed decisions, to enable us to reduce our carbon footprint.
A very helpful recommendations section clearly lays out where to concentrate our efforts.
I would not hesitate to recommend The Carbon Stamp to any other businesses, looking at, first of all monitoring & ultimately reducing their carbon footprint.”
