The Employee Carbon Survey is our own proprietary tool — built in-house by The Carbon Stamp and hosted on our own domain (thecarbonstamp.com) — and the simplest way to estimate Scope 3 Category 7 (employee commuting) and homeworking emissions for any UK SME doing a footprint assessment.
Employees receive a tokenised link to a short, mobile-friendly survey covering travel mode, distance, frequency and home-working days. Responses are tracked per employee (so we can chase non-respondents and ensure complete coverage), then aggregated and emission-factored automatically using the latest DEFRA factors. Individual responses are only ever shared back to your organisation in aggregate.
